"Mr Leech's board rubber"

Having just read Lynn Harrison's comments and watched the Abbey Grange video [Plane picture jumps out] I feel as though I have been transported back to 1974. Hot summer days, afternoon Geography lessons and Mr Leech's board rubber hitting my head as I daydreamed behind the curtains watching the planes go over. I could not wait to leave but on reflection they really were days I should have cherished

I left in 1975 and to date have only spoken to one person from that year since then[Gary Thompson] its amazing how you can spend 4/5 years of your life with people and then never see them again, its a shame really we should have formed an old boys football team from that year' Great team' great coach [ Rev Neal]

as I remember we were promoted every year from 1970-5[that may be rose tinted glasses on my part but I don't think so] God I may be missing the old place. To anyone who remembers me hello and hope you are all well..
