Hi on xmas day i will be going up snowdon via crib gouch route, the sould purpose of the trip will be to lay a poppy wreath on the summit of snowdon, , it will have a poem attached to it, which was wrote by my freind in leeds, miss gaynor chilvers, she is disabled, and suffers from Cerebral Palsy , the poem is called the soldiers last letter, and is copywrite to Gaynor Chilvers,here is the poem that i will attach to the poppy wreath on behalf of Gaynor Chilvers

SOLDIERS LAST LETTER

AS I WRITE THIS LETTER,

XMAS TIME IS COMING,

AND I HAVE TO GO TO WAR,

AND XMAS TIME IS COMING,

I'VE BEEN THERE SO MANY TIMES BEFORE,

DODGING ALL THE BUDGETS,

TRYING TO GET TO THE END OF THE DAY,

OVER THE TRENCHES,

THROUGH THE MINDFIELDS,

ME AND MY BUDDIES ARE SO FAR AWAY,

AND XMAS TIME IS COMING.

LIFE IS FOR LIVING,

THERE SHOULDN'T BE NO WARS,

"PUT DOWN YOUR MUSKET BOY,

CAN'T YOU HEAR THE BUGLE CALL?"

THE BATTLE IS RAGING,

SHELLS ARE FALLING EVERYWHERE,

PEOPLE ARE CRYING, AND DYING,

BUT NO ONE SEEMS TO CARE,

AND XMAS TIME IS COMING.

THE BATTLE IS OVER,

IT'S TIME TO BURY THE DEAD,

HEY SOLDIER COME HERE,

AND REST YOUR WEARY HEAD,

BECAUSE XMAS TIME IS COMING,

PEACE ON EARTH AND GOODWILL TO ALL MEN.

I live in Old colwyn, and I go up snowdon quite often, but this time it will be for all the people that fell in all the great Wars, and conflicts around the world.
