"Customer care, a joke"

Just a few day's ago i purchased some christmas lights, only to find that they were to short for what i wanted them for so today i took them back to exchange them. however, because i couldn't find the receipt they would not change them on any terms and the staff in wigan can only be described as ignorant job worths. in the last few weeks i have spent almost £400 but will never spend another penny in that store and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. i didn't want a refund, just an exchange. is that to much to ask for..
