""1958-64" Great days at this wonderful school"

A review of Christ Church Upper Armley C Of E Primary School by Roy Stewart written on Monday 20th of February 2012

As a child I used to attend this school, it was only a stone's throw away from our house. 12 Edinburgh Grove was the address. Roy Stewart is my name. my two other brothers also attended, "David and Tony". We had some really good friends there. David Pyatt, Michael Hutchinson, Peter Leather, Douglas Scorgie, just to mention a few.

I often wonder if any of the teachers of that time , even though they would be in their mid 80s, are they still living in or around leeds.

I left Leeds in 1973 and I have lost touch with everybody. I now live in Southern Ireland and have been here for the last 39yrs. But I always think of the school and the church, they are so important to me.
