The website for Union Barbers on Hyde Park Corner suggests that you will have your hair cut in a "relaxed atmosphere with plenty of friendly banter." I've visited Union Barbers (out of convenience) a few times during my time at uni and cannot say that this is the case. The lads in there treat you as if you have inconvenienced them in some way by wanting a haircut, even if you have made an appointment. If they know you personally, the attitude is completely different. The haircuts are decent, but the customer service is poor..
