As a child I vaguely remember my mum taking me where she worked at the cotton mill - I remember large shuttle's flying everywhere and everybody was either shouting or lip reading because of the noise - I would love to show my children what working in a mill was like for their grandmother - my mother was the eldest in her family and in desperate times was taken out of school as a child to go and work in the mill!!

I wouls so much like to find out more.
