"A Throwback to the sixties"

A review of The Sportsman Inn by Dan Swithme written on Sunday 25th of August 2013

What a dismal uninspiring place to want to have a relaxing drink, like walking into a 1960s pub, keg beers, pseudo lagers, tiled floors, No real ale !! It seeems to me that the best pubs, the popular ones are the ones that stock real ale, those that don`t are struggling..The Sportsman is in the second catagory and will remain so until it gets a landlord with a bit of vision. .
