"Another hairdresser who does not listen to what you want"

In my constant search for a hairdresser who will listen and who will cut my hair in the style I want as led me to Martin James. Unfortunately my search continues. After showing a picture and describing what I wanted he proceeded to cut it how he liked.

He cut the sides and fringe far too short and one side shorter than the other. This at a price of 57 pounds just shows you don't always get what you pay for.

My next hairdresser will only be aloud to cut my hair on a basis of no fee being paid if the cut is not as requested. I have been to some hairdressers which take a ridiculously long time but Martin James, was particularly quick, at forty minutes from entering the shop, describing my request then washing, cutting and then drying. The unfortunate thing is once your hair has been cut you can't stick it back, nature has to take its course.

Nice surroundings, I'm sure the wine is lovely along with the bubbly, the magazines are modern and upto date and the shampoos and conditioners are top of the range, wish I could say the same about the cut.

I won't be going back.
