I booked a call where the male who was booked to attend was rude, arrogant and was unhelpful. In fact when I called for an eta he said "I'll be there in ....mins" BEFORE I said who I was, then called to change the time again. This cannot be used as a reflection on the company as we cant speak for all of them but it CAN be on the agent who told me I had a swarm of bees and also wasps building on an old previous nest -I have since been told wasps only use their own nest not any previously built. The agent became more arrogant when I refused to pay £120 for a fog in my loft and then again when I also asked re the wasp nest to be removed. he also went through the markings in the phone book on my work top and then angrily asked me to explain why there were other companies names marked up in the book. WHAT GIVES HIM THE RIGHT TO DO THIS? He then DEMANDED I hand over my phone when I called my husband re the £120 fog charge and continued to demand I handed it over. Then was less than impressed when my husband declined this expensive option. **GOOD THING REALLY. I believe this was to play on my clear phobia of wasps and bees. I mentioned a neighbour had their problems sorted for less and nest removed he joked that he needed to make business cards and were there others he could go to, in a word NO! A second person came and told me there was no wasps, no bees nest and the bees we did have were in the fascia. Then charged £40 to sort and also a guarantee to return if the bees came back etc. I also called another company who asked me questions re the agent who came then told me this sounded much like an agent they FIRED FOR THIS TYPE OF ATTITUDE TO WORK AND CUSTOMERS. I will be taking this further and reporting this agent to the Trading Standards and the Governing NPTA Body!!.
