"Dodgy headphones"

I bought a pair of headphones from the shop not even a week ago and when I went to use them, they had virtually split in half, I've seen headphones last longer from Poundland and I payed £10 for these. They didn't give me a reciept when I bought them so I can't even have them returned, unbelievable!.
