"Ruined nail bed"

A review of Queen Nails by Mandy written on Friday 15th of May 2015

I visited this nail salon recently just to have my gel nail polish removed (my nails were originally done by nails Inc in Debenham) as was passing by. I had only had my gel polish on 3 weeks and they were still looking good but like to give my nails a 'breather' with no polish so decided to have it removed and made the unfortunate mistake of going to Queen nails for this doing! They soaked my nails in ? Acetone solution (not foiled) and then used different rotating files to remove it. It was never just pushed off with an orange stick (as I've had done in other salons). Well what a mess. All the colour of polish was gone but when I looked at them after in a good light I could see that so had several layers of my entire nail bed! All my nails now are uneven and bumpy on the surface and I can see redness under the nail which is very tender to press. She has obviously filed (with the rotatary file) down way way too much and made my entire nails now very thin. I've had to cut my nails very short and will just have to wait for the entire nail now to grow out. They look a mess. I so regret going here! .
