I used to work at the Needless Inn when Edward and Audrey owned and ran it. Rupert Davies, aka Maigret, was a friend of theirs and a frequent visitor there. Edward was a delightful man, Audrey was a 1st class snob ! When he died suddenly she couldn't wait to sell up and go back down south. .
