"Could do better safety precautions coronavirus lockdown"

On time for appointment but was kept waiting for 10 minutes as he was with another patient.

I understood that there would only be one patient at a time by appointment. In the meantime the postman came in and left a parcel on the chair next to me. When the optician came out of the consulting room with his patient I wasn't acknowledged instead he went back to do a cursory quick, about 3 minute, clean. Hardly enough time to wipe over all the equipment let alone clean them thoroughly.On being called in I had to ask for the door to be kept open as it was a small room without ventilation. He was very rushed as I could see other patients coming through into the waiting room and I had to walk past them in close proximity when leaving. Overall an uncomfortable and stressful experience with scant regard to procedures regarding a safe enclosed environment during lockdown..
