"Don't be late!"

They state .....

"At Martin James its all about the individual, with a personal approach to beautiful hair that will suit you perfectly ... not the latest fashion fads."

"The salon is an oasis of calm leaving us time to concentrate on what we do best - luxurious bespoke hairdressing."

I am amazed that they can deliver all that in just 30 mins! as that was all the time I was allocated, I don't know when I was going to get chance to sip on a glass of champagne. Sadly I didn't get through the door. They allow no room for late clients be warned.

I can't believe I am the first person to get stuck in traffic and be a few mins late. I was however surprised that at 16.32 ( my appointment being at 16.30) To receive a call asking where I was, and was I aware that I had an appointment. I explained where I was and that I was not far away. No suggestion was made at that point that I would have to rearrange. I received a second call at 16.38 stating that they could no longer fit me in. At this point I was outside the salon in my car looking at the receptionist. I was informed that another clients colour had to come off at 16.45 and that they were unable to cut my hair in 15 mins.

What I fail to understand is that if they provide such an individual, personal approach why don't they allow more time. Personally I feel that they tried to squeeze me into a slot that was not there. So much for being a "personal approach " .

I also feel that if they are as good as they are acclaimed to be in the press reports, there clients would be happy to wait a few mins for this "luxurious bespoke hairdressing" experience! (if for example a previous client happens to have been running a few mins late. ) Most people I find don't mind waiting for something that is any good.

I acknowledge that I was late, but allowing an hour to do a 30 min journey I would have thought was sufficient, obviously I was wrong. Martin James have no sympathy for those who can't keep to time, be warned.

Fed up and desperatelty in need of a haircut! any suggestions....
